Clone Grow-March, 2021
My first time growing clones was a great success.

I started with a trellis net early on in veg, but decided that I wanted to be able to move the plants around some, so I ended up using bamboo stakes and rubber-coated flex wire instead. In hindsight, trellis net is much better, but there's little flexibility when rearranging plants.

Many moons ago, I had tried growing indoors a few times, but with limited success. Fast forward several years, and upon the passing of legislation that would allow the indoor cultivation of cannabis in my state, I decided to give it a try once again. Ahhh...freedom!
I obtained my first few seed packs from some questionable sources, the results of my first two grows weren't the best, but I was learning the process. A friend had produced a few nice mothers from his breeding projects and offered to share some cuts with me. I was excited to grow something much better than what I'd grown thus far, to say the least. I decided to take him up on the offer.
At the time, my setup included a Vivosun 4x4x80 grow tent and two 315-watt Sun System CMH (Ceramic Metal Halide) lights. The environment was controlled with a small humidifier, an AC Infinity 6" exhaust fan with an AC Infinity digital controller, and a couple of 6-inch clip fans. I used Nature's Living Soil and Fox Farm's Happy Frog. Utilizing Subcool's super soil technique in some 5-gallon plastic nursery pots.
I started them with an 18-6 light schedule, switching to 12-12 after about 5 weeks. I could have vegged them for much longer with 80 inches of ceiling, but I wasn't ready to take any chances on them outgrowing the space.
I had three different strains going, and they all grew very well with the Blue Disco (unknown lineage) and the Cookies Kush (Animal Cookies x Kush Mints 11) finishing first at about nine weeks and the Gaknana (GAK x Banana OG) finishing later at around eleven weeks. All three yielded pretty well, the Gaknana yielding the most with some very fat buds. The extremely potent Blue Disco and the Cookies Kush were reserved for smoking and the Gaknana was converted to dry sift hash to be used mostly for edibles.
I had no major issues to report with this grow. Although I wished I had let them veg a while longer, the yield was less important than the overall quality.
